Regional Public University Turns to JBellavance Consulting to Increase Applications at Deadline

The COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on many would-be college applicants. With so much uncertainty it was difficult getting seniors engaged. So this public university turned to JBellavance Consulting to help drive last minute applications as its deadline approached.

The Challenge

With an application deadline fast approaching the university was experiencing significant decline in applications and 65,000 unresponsive student prospects/inquiries in their system.

The JBellavance Solution

At JBellavance Consulting we utilized our dynamic, national database to identify the head of household for nearly half the university’s inactive student prospect pool. We developed a quick, two-pronged email campaign. The first campaign was launched on February 11th, just 4 days prior to the February 15th deadline. The second campaign was launched on March 1st announcing an extension of the university’s application deadline.
